Task Page
Below are the tasks you will complete during this webquest. Each day has a different task to work on. You may go on to another day if you finish the previous day's tasks only. Words highlighted in light blue are linked to other pages in this webquest.
Day 1

Fellow Geologists at the edge of a volcano!
Task #1:
Review the information that I have collected from my field notes on the Process page. Comment on Task #1 in the Student Blog and respond to at least one other student's comment.
Task #2:
Print a copy of the field notes from the Student Page to fill in. Each student needs their own field notes to turn in at the end of the investigation. Comment on Task #2 in the Student Blog and respond to at least one other student's comment.
Day 2
Task #3:
Your group will choose a specific type of plate movement/boundary to present to the geologic panel (a younger class of students).
Task #4:
Brainstorm your presentation by choosing which presentation method you would like to use. You can access tutorials on the Student Page. You will be choosing from VoiceThread, Prezi, or iMovie on the iPad to create your presentations.
Day 3-5
Task #5:
Watch the short tutorial video on how to make and edit your presentation . You can find the video at the bottom of the Student Page. Comment on Task #5 in the Student Blog and respond to at least one other student's comment.
Task #6:
Start creating your presentation. Review the rubric on the Evaluation Page to ensure you are including everything needed for your presentation. Comment on Task #6 in the Student Blog and respond to at least one other student's comment.
Day 6
Task #7:
Complete a Peer Evaluation Form found on the Evaluation Page. Please be specific and detailed. Comment on Task #7 in the Student Blog and respond to at least one other student's comment.
